The Dental Industry Awards this year were everything we hoped for! We took home quite the win, earned several finalist spots, saw friends and colleagues from across the industry, and celebrated another year of servicing UK dentists! We’re going to recap the night, our wins, and any other highlights you might be interested in.

The Ceremony
We sat down together, and after an excellent meal (special thanks to the event staff, especially our server, Jessie!) the hubbub died down. FMC opened their ceremony with a countdown montage video set to Darude – Sandstorm, which went down especially well with the Gen Z audience.
Finally, it was time for the awards.
Advertisement of the year 2024.
This was a category we’d been selected for, and we were very excited! The writer of said advertisement was at the table, and everyone held their breath as the winner was announced. It was the Practice Plan’s ‘Great Barrier Reef!’ The competition for this category was so fierce, we’ll happily accept our place as a finalist.

Servicing and Repair company of the year 2024
We’ve written just oodles of blog posts, socials and webpages about how good our servicing and repair networks are, and how incredible our team are, so we had high hopes! We had several engineers on the edge of their seats as the winner was declared to be – Hague Dental!
Our engineers were happy for Hague Dental, and quite rightfully, proud of their work throughout the year. It may not have been the category for us this year, but with such an expert team, I have no doubt that DD Engineering will continue to be the go-to name for all your dental engineering requirements!

Customer Service Provider of the Year 2024
We’re all about customers at DD, and our customer service team have been making some amazing strides to improve how we do business. The team eagerly awaited the results, hungry for a victory, when suddenly our name was called early! We were noted as highly commended entry! Not quite a win but we accepted our certificate happily.

Brand of the Year 2024
Our marketing team have poured their hearts and souls into working on our brand and services. And most importantly, we were all hungry for a win! Spirits were high, but we couldn’t help but hold our breath as the announcement came... Tooth Club had won!
The calibre for the competition this year was something else, and we were proud to stand-shoulder-to-shoulder with all of our other finalists. However, one category remained, and everyone was still hopeful we were going to win it.

Outstanding Business of the year 2024
This was the award we’d all been secretly hoping to take home. DD as a whole has seen nothing short of enormous change this last year, with every department looking to refine our services, and improve how we serve our customers. For the first time in the evening, the room went silent, the general hubbub of people talking, laughing had fallen away. The presenter opened a golden envelope and revealed the results.
