The Aura Testing Grid is an innovative product designed to remove the hassle from conducting Ultrasonic Activity tests using the traditional method. The difficulty with masking tape grids is that they can become damp and unstick, foils are difficult to place consistently and gloves can become stuck and tear when trying to affix foils, not to mention the testing areas chosen are not consistently applied.
The Aura Testing Grid provides an easy to use solution and ensures this quarterly test can be done easily with high repeatability. Simply thread your pre-measured foils through the grid and fold to hold in place – no masking tape required! A 50m roll of compliant foil is provided in this pack. The grid can be marked with marker pen to show the correct foil strip length and testing locations can be identified. Using the Aura Testing Grid means you can prepare the test while the machine is in the De-gas phase and so reduce the time it takes.
Your test foil should be between 0.015mm and 0.025mm, foils that do not meet this requirement may give inaccurate readings.
An Ultrasonic Activity Test must take place within a clean ultrasonic bath, without a load and using your usual enzymatic detergent dose added to the
