The SHARPSGUARD® sharps container ranges have been enhanced to enable compliance with the requirements of the Safe Management of Healthcare Waste guidance published by the Department of Health. The ranges include new colour coded containers, lids and labels in a variety of sizes, whilst retaining the very highest standards. The SHARPSGUARD® ranges are manufactured to BS EN ISO 23907, UN3291 and ISO 9001.

SHARPSGUARD® yellow is a comprehensive range of container for the disposal of sharps, including those contaminated with medicinal products and their residues. The container labels indicate that disposal should be by incineration or other authorised process and is designed for the consignment of waste categorised by the following EWC codes: 18 01 01, 18 01 03, 18 01 09, 18 02 01, 18 02 02, 18 02 08.
