Omnia PTFE sutures are ideal for all implant, periodontal and bone grafting procedures where the use of a monofilament suture with low bacterial adhesion is desirable. They are particularly soft, biologically inert and chemically non-reactive. Unlike other synthetic monofilament sutures, the material is exceptionally well tolerated in the oral cavity. Also, PTFE sutures are ideal for limiting inflammation, bleeding and other side effects that can arise when bringing tissue edges together.
