The important characteristics of mouthguard materials are tensile strength, softness, compression percent and uniform density. Tensile strength is excellent because of the laminate’s two layers of material making up the mouthguard. Density is maintained at the pressure laminating process, so shrinkage of the mouthguard is uniformly controlled. Essix Plastic is latex and BPA free.
