Delaire Face Mask - Beige

The Orthodontic Face Mask is a medical device used in orthodontic therapies for the correction of dental malocclusions.

The device is used as external anchorage. After being adapted and shaped to the dimensions of the patient’s face, the mask is placed on the forehead and on the chin by means of the forehead and chin support and connected to various devices already in place in the patient’s mouth by means of elastic bands that are hooked to the grill supports. In this way, anterior-posterior traction forces are obtained which allow the altering of the position of the teeth and the maxilla.

The device is available in two sizes, MINI and MAXI, and in different colours. Information on the purchased device is shown on the label affixed to the packaging.

The Orthodontic Face Mask is a multipurpose single-patient medical device. The device can be used on children from the age of 6 and adults.

The device is subject to medical prescription. It is the responsibility of the dentist to evaluate the most suitable treatment based on the patient’s clinical conditions.

The device contains tissues of animal origin.

The useful life of the device is set at five years.
