DD is a group of companies consisting of DD Products and Services Ltd, DD Group Holdings Ltd, Med-Fx Ltd, TAG Medical Ltd, Dolby Medical Ltd and Mi-Tec Ltd the specific Data Controller for your information will be provided in the Privacy Notice for that activity.

This privacy notice sets out how DD as the data controller, collects and processes your personal information in relation to accounts created on and purchases made on ddgroup.com.

Payment processing is carried out by Barclay’s on behalf of DD – any information you share on the payment site is directly with Barclays.

We may share your personal information with other people or businesses where necessary including other members of our group this may include our hosting companies, accounts, and credit control services as well as logistics services.

We may need to share your personal data with regulators when required.

Sharing of hashed data

We share hashed data with third-party platforms such as Facebook, Instagram (Meta), and LinkedIn.

What is Hashed Data and How Does It Work?

Hashed data is a form of encryption where your personal information, such as your email address, is converted into a unique code. This process ensures that your original data cannot be accessed or reconstructed by these platforms.

When we share hashed data with Meta and LinkedIn, these platforms compare code with the codes of existing users and will allow us to provide advertising on those platforms to you.

5. How You Can Control Your Advertising Preferences

You may opt out of our email messages at any time by clicking unsubscribe on any email.

You have control over the ads you see on social media platforms and can adjust your preferences at any time:

If you do not want your hashed data to be used for targeted advertising, you can opt out by clicking unsubscribe on our email communications and unticking “I agree for you to use my interaction data to ensure the relevance of  communications and improve my customer experience” or by contacting us at marketing@ddgroup.com.

6. Retention

Our objective is to only keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it.

Unused accounts will be closed after 2 years inactivity or upon request.

We will delete all personal data after 7 years from account closure unless legally required to keep it for longer for us to comply with medical, tax and accountancy rules.

In some circumstances, we may anonymise your personal information (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
